The effort put into fatherhood is a man’s most important work. Our need to do something important and enduring is built into us by nature.

Taking a long view of the eons of human existence, it becomes apparent that raising our children is as essential to human survival as is eating or breathing.

The quality of our work will directly affect the quality of that existence, just as our forefathers’ love and work gave us the qualities we needed to get us this far.

I was blog walking and read this post. It is so very true. Back then we can never understand why our parent doing the things we hate. But after becoming a parent my self, I finally understand that our parents especially father, will do everything in his power to protect and to love his family. He might not say it often (at least in my case, my dad rarely said he loved me), but believe me, he would give his right arm if it could make you feel better. And yes, he would die for you without hesitation if it means he’s giving life. So contrast to mothers, where they can easily say I love you and show affection in every little things. At least my mom did.

But now, parenting in digital era is showing different direction. As we baby boomer become parents, our ways to raise children is just different from our parent’s style. We google and research for opinions, wether doctors online, medical advice from online books or parenting forums. We believe in showing how much we love our children and saying it often must be our daily lifestyle.

And I hope through this pictures you can feel the love in your heart, and always reminded that our precious babies are our miracle. They once grow inside our tummy, and born into this world, grow and become bigger and bigger every day.
I sincerely wish that as parent we always remember that they are our miracle. Forever they will be our babies.. And if some day along the road you feel exhausted, I hope when you look into your newborn pictures you will remember all that unconditional love bursting inside your heart. And you will get re-charge and become full spirit, to embrace the world with your love ones 🙂
