It’s that time of the year *Again*

School HOLIDAY.. yaaaayyy…

For those of you who like to travel (local or international) during school holiday, well you can visit new places and try every fun activities for your children.
As for me, I spend this year school holidays in Jakarta.. my home town 😀

Because my baby boy is not so little anymore, playing in the park only become a 1 hour fun 😛
So I need to plan the schedule (yes itinerary just like if you’re going abroad or out of town).
But this time, the schedule should be within Jakarta area.. Here I thought “what could be the option for 5 years old to explore Jakarta”
Turn out I was wrong!

There are a lot of cool places to visit here in Jakarta, you can have fun and you can also get a very educative atmosphere.

So here’s the list I have in mind for my baby Boy Aaron (for this 1 weekend- 7 days.. Will have to arrange the next 7 days ASAP), hopefully this list can inspire you to do something fun with your kids even though you’re not travelling out of town 😉

Day 1

• Riding TransJakarta (blok-M to Bunderan HI)
• Playing in Phinisi Education Theme Park

You can learn: how to play angklung, gamelan, wayang. Also how to make batik, kite. You learn a lot at the planetarium 🙂

Day 2

• Visit comic cafe at epicentrum walk

Awesome place for boys.. Lots of superhero (even though Aaron doesn’t watch the movies.. but he knows superman & batman) 😀 (for girls you can visit hello kity cafe/store at PIK)

• Swimming at Pondok Indah

This is one Aaron’s fav place to swim

Day 3

• Visit eco art park at Sentul

I’m kinda tired visiting the malls for sight seeing.. Want to see something green 😀 plus they have a giant size robot.. Aaron will surely scream when he sees it.

• Pasar Ah Poong at Sentul

this is one unique place Aaron must see 🙂

Day 4

• Beach Beach Beach

Jakarta only have Ancol. So we will visit taman ria in Ancol and play with the sands. Don’t forget to ride the train 😀

This time I want Aaron to experience riding a boat. After that play around the eco park.

Day 5

• Museum Polri

Aaron already visit this museum (one of his school field trip went to this museum), but I wasn’t allowed to accompany him, so there’s no pictures 🙁

This time I will surely bring myNIKON tocapture all the fun 😀

Day 6

• Cibubur Wiladatika – Taman Lalu Lintas

Totally green environment. Aaron will love playing in the soccer field. But the highlight of the day will be the “Taman Lalu Lintas”. Aaron will learn about traffic, from the signs to the manners when using the streets.

Day 7

• SAINS ILMA (Pamulang)

I’ve been wanting to visit this place. Now is the right time I guess.. Aaron already shows interest in simple physics. Hopefully he will learn more in this place.. 🙂
I still have a long list to visit.. For now I will report each day 😉
