PHOTOS or MEMORIES?
- Inspirations
Back then I was one of not so fortunate people when it comes to pictures. I don’t have so many pictures of me growing up from birth to toddler. I do have some, but still they are not enough.
So I promised myself that my baby boy will have pictures and video, not only if it his/her birthday, but in every occasion, milestone, achievement. Thank GOD I married a photographer, so I can keep my promise in a professional way…
For me, photo is not a picture, but it is about keeping all the good memories. Not only for me as a parent (believe me, you will surprise how fast they grow), but also for my baby Aaron (and future babies of course). Think 20+ years down the road. I’m sure we all enjoy looking at our own baby pictures, but as an adult, don’t those pictures have more sentiment if they describe every precious moments of our baby (not in studio I mean, but real activities)? When your baby becomes an adult, I’m sure they’d appreciate seeing themselves and all of the memories.
Because in the end, pictures will become memories. So why don’t you become a memory keeper for your baby…? If you have the budget, hire a professional photographer to capture all the precious moment for your baby. For me personally I don’t like studio photo for baby and toddler, not only because I’m worried about their hygiene but also it is a set up, where every body can use the same outfit or props.. It just not natural. But hey.. it’s just me…
So mommies, start taking those picture, keep your camera close just in case our babies do something amazing

February 10, 2015I remember my late father used to make 1 photo album for 1 year of life. I remember how he arranged it neatly and orderly on an old fashioned photo album. After he passed away (it has been 11 year now) I only have 2 photo album.. the rest goes to hard disk *lah curcol*
